About the Author:

Dr. Joy Lawson Davis is an award-winning author, scholar, professional learning trainer, independent consultant, and equity activist. Her areas of expertise are culturally responsive teaching; equity and access in Gifted Education programs, enhancing family engagement, and meeting the needs of diverse gifted learners with multiple exceptionalities. Dr Davis is a highly sought-after keynote speaker, voice for equity, and trainer for organizations, school districts and state agencies across the nation and internationally. She is the author of numerous publications.
