Flowers That Water Themselves

$14.99

Author: Tyesha Mack

Immerse yourself in this collection of original poetry and short stories that tell stories of battles with childhood trauma and bullying, anxiety, low self-esteem and self-worth, infertility issues, toxic relationships with men and friends, and how one overcame all of that and some. Great for fans of Reyna Biddy and Rupi Kaur!

Flowers That Water Themselves is an original work of poetry and short stories that paints the picture of my journey towards healing and self-love. I get very intimate and detailed about my story, hoping that my transparency helps women all over the world begin healing themselves and loving themselves more. Women deal with so much from self-esteem issues, mental illness, and the pressures of society to look and act a certain way and I just want women everywhere to know that they are not alone, and it is more than okay to be exactly who they are. I want us all to see that we don't have to fit anyone's standards but our own, that we can be special and shine brighter than we ever have no matter the mistakes we've made along the way, and that we don't have to live in fear of being judged or unaccepted. My hope is that every, single woman that reads this book sees themselves on every page and begins to water themselves until they've healed and grown into loving themselves so much that nothing could ever take that away from them again. Let the watering begin.
